It's been a tough couple of weeks for Trump between the "hot wife" incidents, the abortion comments, etc. It seems he's straying into a lot of the social issues debates where he was not knowledgeable on, and frankly, why a lot of Republicans liked him because he wasn't previously getting into those topics.
The message on trade, jobs, and his foreign policy views seem to have gotten lost in the mix with the social issues and sleaze. Do you think Trump is getting off message?
I think the media is trying to get him off message and present him as getting off message. I've watched several of his rally speeches and his message is the same as it has always been.
We'll be great. Sure, we don't have any ideas, policies or plans, but we'll be great. You'll love us. We hate everyone that doesn't look like "us", that is reason enough.
I was going to say the same thing It's getting down to issues that require more substance and that's not Trump's wheelhouse. He plays better on controversial and emotional issues.
Right. It's all the media's fault that Trump is saying the things he's saying. Never mind that Trump has more media exposure than all other candidates combined, including democrats, it's the media that's out to get him. certainly not the republican party or the 74% of American voters who view Trump as unfavorable and would never vote for him.

He obviously hasn't given many issues a second thought. He tried to answer the abortion question the way he thought anti-abortion people think and he made a mess out of it because he doesn't think that way--just pandering.
Also if he is going to respond with his tweeting finger every time an ad comes out that he doesn't like, he is going to continue going way way off message into the twittersphere and it will be nonsense he'll have to retract.
His newest 'message' is that we are going to have a massive recession that only he can save us from. Aside from the sheer irresponsibility of scaring people--is he serious? How stupid does one have to be to believe this ridiculous fear-mongering? It sounds like a threat a parent would tell their kids to scare them them. Honestly--the guy truly sounds demented at times.
