The wanted the country to fail because then they could blame it on Obama, which was all they cared about. The GOP tried to sabotage an economic recovery for political gain. It doesn't get any more despicable than that.

The man took office when America was in trouble. I keep repeating this fact, but his haters will not admit it. Unemployment was growing at alarming rates. People were losing everything, homes, cars, motorhomes, boats, etc. Consumer confidence was down, and people were not spending money on anything except bare necessities.

My shop is in a row of 16 other shops, and, 8 years ago, they were going out of business to the point we were the only shop still standing. We never saw a construction vehicle on the roads, and businesses were scrounging for business, just to keep the doors open. Banks were not loaning money and had a glut of repossessed homes, cars, and everything else on their books.

Here we are, 8 years later, and unemployment has dropped very dramatically. People are buying and building homes once again. Construction is booming, and you have a long wait to get a service person out to take care of you because they have so much business. Places are hiring and can not get enough people to fill those positions.

The center where my shop is has zero vacancies now, every shop is filled with people in there conducting business. When I ask people how business is, they say they have "Too much and kind of wish it would slow down so they can take a breather". I work in a luxury business (boats) and the last thing people spend money on is boats when things are bad. We are having record numbers and it grows every month.

Therefore, I THANK BARRACK OBAMA for the job he has done for America ! Even now, when he is a lame duck and could be coasting, he still works hard every day because that is the kind of man he is. I just wish I could vote for him a 3rd time. This recovery did not happen out of thin air......the man at the helm did it, and there is no denying that fact.

Don
Bless your heart! And congratulations on the employment status in your area!

Why do voters continue to mark the ballots for Senators and Representatives who do their damnedest to undermine our nation? Who won't do their jobs to keep the country running? Won't move forward with vetting a new Supreme Court Justice? ....

If you have a group of employees who not only won't do their jobs, but actively and openly undermine your employees who are trying to mo things along, would you keep them on staff?

Hell, no.

Pretty much. But they were too busy marching around with racist misspelled signs at "tea party" gatherings.

Can you just imagine where we'd be now if we had elected John McCain and Sarah Palin?
Sarah Palin isn't qualified for a local elected position, much less leader of the free world.

What was the RNC thinking when they forced her on McCain? Seriously.

We know what they were thinking. We read it here on this forum every day. They were thinking vagina=women's vote. You know this is true because we hear it from them daily that the only reason Clinton has the support of women is because she has a vagina.

They saw no difference between Sarah Palin and Hillary Clinton. They both have vaginas. That means they're equal, right?

And in their ignorance, they believe the whole world is as ignorant as they are.

But even if that worked, we'd end up with Sarah Palin, a person unable to put a coherent sentence together.

That anyone thought she should be a heartbeat away from being the U.S. President is truly astounding.

Sure it does.

Clinton and the Obama administration lying about what led to the deaths of four Americans in Benghazi, in order to re-elect Obama, is as despicable as it gets. The entire Obama/Clinton administration is mired in obfuscation and you drones keep drinking it up.

But, you keep on believing your masters.
