Well, if private conservative 'watchdog' groups can ask for investigative information, why can't anyone ask for information on this?

Bondi should have to release her emails related to the investigation of Trump University and the donation from the Trump Foundation, and so should Trump. Let's see their emails.

And it's not just the illegal contribution--he followed up with a fundraiser at Maralago.

Bribery investigation should be forthcoming, and I hope it is initiated in Florida. I urge all Floridians to contact their congressional and state representatives to call for an investigation.

I think I missed your post were you were calling for a public corruption investigation against Hillary, and the Clinton Foundation, because you surely have made such calls because there is literally a 1000 times more evidence of wrongdoing by the Clintons.

Can you provide a link to your post where you call for a public corruption investigation against Hillary, and the Clinton Foundation?

here's a current AP article on the topic

https://www.yahoo.com/news/trump-see...-election.html

i found this interesting:

"Bondi has said the timing of Trump's $25,000 donation was coincidental and said she wasn't personally aware of the numerous consumer complaints her office had received about the Trump-owned Trump University and the Trump Institute,..."

i think if any evidence surfaces that bondi did have knowledge of the "numerous consumer complaints" this will escalate into an investigation.

Should change the thread title to, "Trump accused by political rivals during election of blah blah blah"

While most of you made up your minds whom you were going to vote for looooong before you even had a candidate nominated....independents look at this type of garbage and laugh....just like we did at the birthers.

unlike the birthers there are actually facts in this situation ( in chronological order ):

* the florida AG office received numerous consumer complaints about "trump U".

* the florida AG office announced to the press that they were considering joining an investigation into "trump U".

* trump donated, illegally thru his charity, $25,000 to the florida AG pam bond's campaign.

* bondi decides not to investigate "trump U".

* the trump foundation reports the $25,000 donation to the IRS as a charity donation to a completely unrelated entity.

do you believe any of those are false?

I actually have contacted my state and congressional reps, and while doing so noticed there are about 5 petitions (national and state) to investigate Bondi in the Trump University deal.

The Florida papers have all had strong editorials as well.

So there are more than a few concerned citizens out there who would like to this investigated.

from the article:

"In that year's tax filings, The Post reported, the Trump Foundation did not notify the IRS of this political donation. Instead, Trump's foundation listed a donation — also for $25,000 — to a Kansas charity with a name similar to that of Bondi's political group. In fact, Trump's foundation had not given the Kansas group any money.

The prohibited gift was, in effect, replaced with an innocent-sounding but nonexistent donation."

and

"[ Jeffrey McConney — senior vice president and controller at the Trump Organization ] blamed a series of mistakes, all of them unintentional. McConney said there had been no attempt to deceive."

so to recap this story so far:

* FL AG office receives multiple complaints about "trump university" and consider investigating.

* trump donates $25,000 to FL AG pam bondi's campaign illegally thru his charity.

* bondi decides not to investigate "trump university".

* trump organization falsely reports to the IRS the donation not going to bondi.

i think we'll be hearing more on this story.
Wow, the Left is really desperate. Grasping at straws now. Tit for tat anyone?

And then after she decided not to pursue the investigation, he held a fundraiser for her. Nobody has clean hands for this kind of stuff; neither Hillary or Trump.
