Dontcha just love how the media depends upon readers who are unable or unwilling to do math? There will be 4051 pledged delegates at the Dem convention. Anyone with a 4th grade education can calculate a majority (hint: 4051/2).
We know one thing for sure...sander's, a 74 yo socialist, has given clinton a looooong ride in trying to seal the nomination she/her handlers never in their wildest dreams expected. And I think sander's will do very, very well in OR and CA. Not good news at all for hil. And everyone thought the republican convention would be the fun to watch though now it will be a somewhat mundane thing compared to what it could have been. I'm getting my popcorn ready for the "dem super fantastic delegate hour of a gem show" the dem convention is sure to be!
Here we are mid may and she still hasn't secured the nomination and trump sealed it already unofficially? Ha!
Buckle your seatbelts, hil-bots. Turbulence ahead for the "queen", courtesy of trump and sander's.
"He skewered Clinton’s positions on climate change, the minimum wage, the environment, the Iraq war, and the future of giant American banks. He mocked her connections to Wall Street — adding his usual suggestion that she is part and parcel of a "corrupt" system."

She will not have attained nomination before the convention in late July. Period. There are not enough pledged delegates pledged to her in primary season for her to receive any nomination before that time. She failed to meet that threshold.
There's also no guarantee the super delegates will vote for her in late July. She doesn't have those votes in the bag.
The West Coast will own her campaign within weeks.

They're docile and will obey those they consider their betters.
They're slaves at heart.
They're clueless. They have, however, made some cognitive progress, added new words to their vocabulary of "racist" and "sexist": "But she's winning," and "But she has most of the superdelegates."
No one "attains the nomination prior to the convention" regardless of how many delegates they have. A ballot still has to take place and votes have to be cast.
But there is zero reason to believe that superdelegates who have expressed their support for Hillary and have continued to endorse and campaign for her are going to change their minds given the current statistics in this campaign. Yes, Bernie could mathematically overtake her in pledged delegates but the political reality is that he will not get the kind of margins in every remaining contest that would be required. He'd have to be looking at 70/30 or better in every one and that's just not going to happen.
Joe Biden is waiting on the wing. I predict in 2 month time we'll get an indictment and before the convention that Hillary has to step down and the DNC will vote to have Biden replace Hillary. Bernie is just a side show.
Obama may have one departing gift for Hillary. Biden is already being prepped for that event as he has recently mentioned his candidacy.

Real candidates--ones with "unity"--meet that nominating threshold before the convention.
She didn't. She's that unpopular.

But nobody's saying that.
Only that she will fail to meet the threshold, herself, before the convention, through the efforts of the Sanders campaign combined with her unpopularity.

Except a) the primaries are not over and b) she will in fact have significantly more than 2383 delegates committed to her by the end of the primaries.
But sure, keep trying to convince yourself that math doesn't work.
