Because if Trump loses he'll probably be the nominee in 2020.

Ryan wasn't voted into his current position by the American people. The American people did vote for Trump. Ryan has a LOT to prove to Trump supporters before his endorsement means a damn to them....but I guess it/he will help with some undecided RINO's....and who cares.

I'm not sure I want Ryan running in 2020 (IF Trump loses). At this point, I don't think Ryan has the guts to pretend to carry Hillary's jockstrap, let alone Trump's.

He no longer has a future in politics.

At this point, I don't think anyone cares. Trump has already demonstrated that Ryan's endorsement is irrelevant.

Furthermore if Ryan endorses him now, then it only proves that Ryan doesn't stand for anything, can't make tough decisions, waffles, and easily reverses himself depending upon the political wind. i.e. A political hack & professional politician that Americans have come to hate.

IMO, years from now, he will consider his refusal to stand by the GOP nominee as one of his biggest political mistakes.

Nice to watch the GOP eat their own. Fun to watch.

Don the Nut and his lack of ideas shows what the base of the GOP has become.

Are you kidding? The GOP has picked their nominee and the entire party along with millions of new voters, independents and disaffected Democrats are all rallying around Trump.

It's the DNC that's tearing itself apart and it's beginning to appear that a healthy percentage of Bernie's supporters are going to way away from Hillary Clinton should she be nominated. That is, if she is even nominated. Even that isn't guaranteed.
