Face it, there aren't enough bigots and racists in the country to win elections on any more, which is a fact that causes many right wingers great despair.
Yes, but we also shouldn't discount his chances either. That's the danger people have with both sides. Assuming the other one will be a pushover.

Data says this.
  • Democrat turnout is down 25% from 2008
  • GOP turnout is up 48% from 2008
This speaks for itself. Millions of people who voted for Democrats in '08 are now voting for Trump. Math can't be denied.
Yes, yes, but Hillary still received more votes than Trump.

15,729,913 for Clinton and 13,700,472 for Trump.

Here we go again.

1. The turnout rate for Republicans is 14.8% of the eligible voters, and 14.4% for Democrats. An insignificant difference.

2. It's absurd to set the Democratic baseline as 2008, since it set the all-time record for either party at 35 million votes. Anything would pale in comparison. Even GOP's all-time record this year is only 30.4 million. Wow, that's 4.5 million votes less than the 2008 Democratic primary turnout! I guess the 2008 Obama would have crushed the 2016 Trump. Excluding the record-shattering 2008, Democrat's turnout this year is its highest in 28 years.

3. Trump (13.3 million votes) << Clinton (15.7 million votes) . . . . wow, 2.4 million more votes for Clinton.

4. Trump got only 44% of the total GOP primary votes . . . . so 56% of the increase over prior years is attributable to non-Trump votes (including many who voted to stop Trump).

5. In any case, all of this is irrelevant, because the primary turnout holds no correlation to the general election outcome. You know this.

6. "Millions of people who voted for Democrats in '08 are now voting for Trump. Math can't be denied." Really? It's quite amazing you know how Democrats are going to vote in November. Maybe you should buy Powerball tickets. You don't even have data on how many Democrats voted for Trump in the 2016 GOP primaries, do you?

Oy vey.

I agree but Trump supporters don't get let facts get in the way of their narrative that he is the people's choice because he's an outsider and saying what is needed to be said regardless of the racial and sexual overtones.

Kasich not Kisach and Graham not Ghram (geez) are just being smart by not booking passage on the Titanic, as they have seen the movie and know how it ends.

Hope you and Trump enjoy the ride but watch out for that iceberg!

Yes I did read the article. I'm hoping that enough of the more than 1/2 of eligible voters that don't vote come out for Trump.

Also, why do you inject race into just about every one of your posts?

Problem is, the so called "facts" you keep trying to shove down our throats are irrelevant. You keep bringing up that Trump is a racist against Messicans..Mexican is not a race BTW..

You libs keep bringing up things that you find shocking, but in reality has no bearing on being President. Tell me, what has Trump said or done that Hillary, Obama, Bush, or Clinton hasn't done a dozen times over? Obama (in my opinion) has shown overt hatred of white people, mostly the British and Jews, Hillary made disparraging anti-semetic remarks, Sharpton, who is good friends with Obams, is on record with anti-white, anti-Jew, and anti-gay remarks. I dont recall any liberal here condeming it in any way. I barely hear any GOP elite offer anything other than a limp wristed response, yet they have plenty to say about Trump. Screw them

Trump is showing us that, yes, he is flawed, but on the other hand seems genuine in his wish to help America.

You claim to have read the article. The headline was: "Can White Working Class Voters Carry Donald Trump to White House?" It was the subject of the article. Next time try reading for comprehension.
