Trump sounded like a 6th grader reading badly in front of the class. He pointed his finger on many of the words, almost like he was counting them as he read from the teleprompter, to ensure he didn't miss words. Every so often he would add a personal comment about the lines, usually a couple words, almost like he was commenting aloud about a news article he just read. But the way he said those few words was a totally different tone than the 6th grade choppy reading of the scripted lines.
You would have to watch it to believe how bad he did reading from the teleprompter. I was embarrassed for him. It was really really hard to watch him reading the speech aloud. A total disaster.
What's most surprising (well, maybe not) is reading the comments from the Trumpettes saying that speech was good. Trump is not fluid when he reads aloud.
What was even stranger is the look on his face when he asked for a moment of silence for the victims and kept his eye open while he tried not to blink the whole hold time.

It was worse than that - he hinted that Obama had something to do with it.
I refuse to listen to that blowhard if I don't have to. Did he seriously lie about where the shooter was born? Does he think we don't know this already? Or is he so sure of the ignorance of his supporters that he knows he can get away with it?
Don't be so quick to dismiss what he said. Once again the anti Trump haters will say and do anything to try to discredit him. He said his PARENTS were Afghan immigrants. The only ignorance is coming from people like yourself that won't take the time to hear the speech and then jump on any bandwagon that lies about what he said. How do you get away with that?
You could be right. He was doing his usually fear mongering and often says dumb, uniformed things when he does. Saying, "The shooter was born in Afghanistan of Afghan parents" is pretty dumb and uniformed.
What's really dumb and uniformed are people like yourself that takes a word which was misspoken and then quickly corrected and tries to make an issue out of it. But then again, as a Trump hater, you'll bend the truth and even outright lie to make a point which is irrelevant.
It was quite the neo-Fascist rant. I will give you that.
