This is a race of interest to everyone, not just IL voters. Incumbent Republican Mark Kirk vs Tammy Duckworth, disabled veteran. Kirk has that rare ability to work across the aisle, but has had health problems. Duckworth is in a wheelchair, but has party support. Looks like a tossup now. What do you think?

Isn't Kirk the one who is also in a wheelchair and rescinded his original endorsement of Trump?

Kirk is clearly in trouble - and his seat is considered to be one of the Senate pickups for the Democrats.

Kirk will probably lose, but it's not much of a loss to the conservative movement.

Kirk is my senator, and as far as Republicans go he is a moderate--one of the few left in the party. That said, Duckworth is very popular in the state and I believe she will take this seat back for the Democrats.

So Illinois, useless place that it is, will replace one of the few remaining moderates with another left wing extremist. Oh well. Glad I left.

He won't likely win. The same as the Feingold will likely win his seat back.

We will replace a fairly reliable Republican vote in the Senate with a very reliable Democratic one. Works for me.
