Pennsylvania (and Ohio) are among the most heavily Republican gerrymandered states in the country.

How PA illustrates Obama's call on gerrymandering

We need a Constitutional amendment to prevent gerrymandering.

Great post. C-D prohibits me from spreading more reputation your way.

Thanks for catching Cleveland. I missed him.

it depends by how much she wins by in those cities......she can win those cities and still lose the state. PA is a big state. Obama won PA in 2012 by 5% but Romney won the majority of the counties and precincts of the state........its like the BRETIXT vote, London voted to stay but not by large numbers to off set the rest of the country.

So?

How 'bout this....

The Democrat party has never held the Presidency for more than 2 consecutive terms since 2 term limits were made the law.

By this rule alone, Hillary has lost.

AHH so when it works for Democrats in New York, Illinois, Maryland and California that's o.k? huh

because Democrats don't resort to that sort of thing to keep them in power in Democrat states and cities.

Republicans gerrymandered the hell out of PA. Pretty sure the Democratic house candidates received more votes statewide than the Republican candidates did.

It has been established that the blacks have become wise to Clinton and realize that when she grants amnesty, their unemployment numbers will continue to climb. You know, the "super predators". I would not start celebrating yet.

Too funny! Super qualified for what? Bill's wife isn't qualified for squat and all of you out there that think Bill will be running the country, he is too ill. Bill's wife is a failure at everything except lying and cheating in which she is SUPER QUALIFIED!

You need to take into account the +/-2 and the fact that this tiny bump is just after the DNC Convention. 46% were Democrats, 40% Republicans and 14% Independents. 53% were women and 47% were men. And, it was VERY partial to the Democratic Party in the questions that were asked, a lot of questions about Trump and Russia/tax returns, I didn't see anything about Hillary email, Clinton Foundation or Benghazi. A bunch of hooey and only one poll.

Did anyone read the questions? They even ask if a person has a favorable or unfavorable opinion of Chelsea Clinton! Also, Joe Biden and Michele Obama. Who cares?

There are more Democrats in PA by a good margin. I believe it is 1 million more registered Democrats.

Republicans can only Gerrymander in their favor only AFTER, the state starts to vote for the GOP for state offices instead of the DEM.

This speaks for itself.

No, gerrymandering is NOT OK anywhere. I don't know about the other states you cited (provide articles), but California no longer is gerrymandered.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Califo...ing_Commission

As I said, there should be a Constitutional amendment to prevent and eliminate all gerrymandering in all states. Most southern states also are highly gerrymandered by Republicans.

This is how efficiently Republicans have gerrymandered Texas congressional districts - Houston Chronicle
