Boring is better than Trump chaos and cratering of the economy. With Trump's debt-default threats the US' credit rating would drop overnight.

Agreed, boring is perfectly fine in government. You want the government to function effectively and not be a burden or a distraction to business or other aspects of life.

Trump then questioned how the attendance at his rallies hasn’t been reflected in the polls.
“I hear we’re leading Florida by a bit,” he said. “I don’t know why we’re not leading by a lot. Maybe crowds don’t make the difference.”

Bernie had crowds and frenzy but lost by 55%-43% so not sure what I've "got to admit" other than he was the loser in a landslide?

Going from what 1-2% in polls to 43% despite not being the DNC's chosen candidate and having basically zero name recognition (and small money donors). You aren't willing to admit he made an unexpected run considering the circumstances? Combined with Trump's unexpected run - it's evident that people are more willing than ever to step outside the box of traditional republican/democratic candidates.

He ran a good race, he lost in a landslide. I'm old enough to remember Adlai Stevenson's, Gene McCarthy's, and Ross Perot's efforts, so I'm willing to give him cred but not as enamored as you. Been there done that.

Losing by 2% is a landslide in political terms, but garnering 43% of the vote vs one the most established political candidates in history is definitely worth noting - especially when viewed through the lense of the bigger picture...two complete outsiders (Sanders/Trump) being so popular. Like I said, voters seem to be more willing to step out of the box now than any time in recent history. I won't be surprised if/when outsiders start busting through.

Too bad Presidents aren't elected by the size of the crowds they draw at rallies eh? Who cares? No one but Trumpettes.
