What else does he do in his remaining days...every day he is enjoying taking a new shot at Trump, doesn't he have anything else to take care of?

Clinton isn't attacking Democrats, so they'll turn out to help her. She's attacking Republicans. Oddly, Trump is attacking Republicans too. Even more oddly, the Rs he is attacking are not turning out to help him.

This has been covered in several media sources; Obama needs HC to win in order for his "legacy" to be preserved and even strengthened.

On a host of issues such as the Affordable Care Act/healthcare, immigration, LGBT "equality", global warming/climate change, free trade, and so forth a republican president and or Congress can undo much of what Obama has done over the past twelve years. The WH in particular is in play because no small amount of what Obama did was via executive orders which can be easily undone by successive POTUS.

The other worry of course would be all the administrative actions under the Obama presidency (rule changes) that can also be undone by new heads of various federal agencies.

While it is always better to have things done via laws; Obama took many of these actions because republican controlled Congress (or at least the House) wouldn't play ball, so he used the power of the pen to get what he wanted.

Immigration is a big deal not just to Obama but the democratic party as well; if they have any hope of keeping the large and growing Latino vote something has to be done. That something is more likely with the Clinton woman as POTUS than Trump.
