you're missing my point, don't get your panties in a bunch, if he wants to insert himself into the middle of the political race as a military person, why would he be telling a politician not to comment on the military when he's commenting on politics?
His comments had nothing to do with the military.
His point was, someone like his son would never have been allowed in the United States if Trump had his way. It had to do with immigration policy, not the military.

So VETERANS shouldn't be allow to voice their political opinions?
He has a RIGHT to comment on politics. He's more than earned that right with his own blood.
this is another shill for hillary, this guy wants trump to 'stay out of politics' but he inserts himself directly into politics....if trump should stay out of the military business and keep them out of politics, this guy ought not comment on politics either.
Yes, that's the conservative spirit! If someone criticizes you, ignore the message and just attack their character! You make a great Trumpkin. So easy for you to write a guy off as a shill who has walked the talk and had the balls to actually sacrifice something, unlike you.

How can we trust our military in the hands of a commander in chief who we can't even trust to comfort the parents of a fallen soldier?

Really kid?
Tell us, in your mind, who does have a right to comment on politics?

The ********** is following Trump's lead.
First insult a hero.
When you are called out on it, double down.
By Nov 9th, Don the Chump will be history.
But we will still be stuck with the **********s.

In his very well reasoned critique, Martinez never mentioned who he is supporting in this campaign. You are just reading into it what your brainwashers wish you to see, and you discount what Martinez says because you assume something that is not in evidence.
If Martinez had addressed this letter to Clinton, you'd be waving it around on every rooftop you could find.
