I didn't take the statement that way. But I'll tell you what, I WAS shocked, and upset when the Trump supporter punched that protester that was being escorted out of the rally. I'm all about free speech, but there is no place for violence in political protests.
The people (or U.S. citizens anyway) have every right to reject Trump, but not to act out violently against his supporters, as these people (a small minority) were doing.
Don't recall any of Trump fans angered over this.....
I was bothered by it, but then again, I wouldn't call myself a Trump fan. A likely Trump voter? Probably, under the circumstances.
(Back when that happened I was still hoping Sandes would win the Democratic nomination and wasn't paying that much attention to Trump.)
