Or perhaps better said, how dumb do they think their target audience and the rest of us are to believe them?
Think about this. This is a group of bigoted bottom feeders who have spent decades denigrating these two groups of people. They have made it a political cornerstone to block gay people from basic social dignities, like having their relationships even recognized in any legal sense. They have spent a long time arguing that black people are no-good moochers who vote Democrat because they only want freebies and only move up thanks to affirmative action. They deny any possibility of cases of police prejudice and unfair action against blacks. They think things like social justice is a crock of ****. Diversity in any sense is pretty much always ridiculed. And then they hide behind disingenuous arguments about how some Democrats from like two centuries ago founded the KKK; therefore, their racist claims today are somehow not racist.
And now we're supposed to believe that Trump and his ilk have any interest in fundamentally defending their rights or improving their lives?
With gay people: Trump could barely even say the letters "LGBTQ" with a straight face without screwing them up. Yeah, that came across as really genuine there. The only way he can even bring himself to try to pretend to care about gay people is by telling them he'll keep out the Muslims, something he wants to do for reasons that fundamentally have nothing to do with gay people anyway - as if that is what's been holding back gay people and gay rights in America.
With African Americans: The entire message (delivered to comfortably white audiences) is: "your lives are pathetic and you have nothing to lose - vote for me!" Gee, nice one, you meatheads. Think you may want to go back and work on your marketing just a bit there? That's really gonna resonate with the target audience.
It's laughable. When you've spent decades undercutting certain groups of people, it looks really stupid and desperate when you then try to pander to them at the last minute for some quick political boost. Everyone knows that in reality Trump and his kind would not advance policies that protect or improve social standing or rights of minorities; if anything, his messaging clearly says he'd do the opposite. And it's why every poll (ohh, those are all rigged, remember) show black and gay people overwhelmingly behind Hillary Clinton.

THe only relevant thing you said is in red. THat pretty much sums up your entire screed.
His statement to Blacks that they have pathetic lives, so crappy that what do they have to lose with Trump has got to be one of the dumbest campaign approaches in the history of politics.
Just as dumb as the black and gay people that think Hillary and the Dems actually care about them. Both parties are a bunch of pandering self interested scumbags.

Actually close.
Believe it or not we read the GOP platform. The GOP actually stand for denial of rights to people like me.
I expect that the average middle class Black American has been put off by Trump and this label of all Blacks are inner city Blacks who are losers in life will sway them to his opponent.

I think that Hillary Clinton is DEAD WRONG to want to admit more hyper-religious Muslims into this country. It is proven that the Islam religion does not take kindly to gay people.
