Obama will be remembered by most sane people as a good president. He wasn't perfect but he did a good job righting the country after the Bush fiasco.

Recovered us from all kinds of economic problems - we were in deep doo doo in 2008.

Actually I suspect he'll be remembered by most sane people as an egotistical narcissist who had no idea what he was doing and let the worst liberals of the Democratic party drag him into a disastrous healthcare plan that threw American healthcare into turmoil and created massive financial hardships for the middle-class.

Oh, and sane historians will also lay ISIS squarely at Obama's feet.

Approval ratings mean nothing as most people are ignorant when it comes to politics. Obama's rcord speaks for itself and his legacy, the Affordable Care Act, is slowly dying.

He'll be remember for doubling the national debt, and for the worst recovery in US history.

He'll also be remember for bad foreign policy, and a healthcare bill that was so bad that it will likely have to be repealed someday.

Obama will be remembered as the president that replaced Jimmy Carter (D) as the worse president in US history. No, actually Obama will be remembered for 8 years of corruption and lies, stagnant economy and horrible foreign policy.

obama has something bush didn't have.....an almost 100% approval of black voters.

Obama Weekly Job Approval by Demographic Groups

He's had around a 90%+ approval rating among blacks for the longest time now. Why, I don't know.

Is Black America Better Off Under Obama? | BlackPressUSA

"What planet African Americans are doing “better off” on is unknown. What is known is that President Obama is about to leave office with African Americans in their worst economic situation since Ronald Reagan."

So there's the difference, based on the data, in why he has such a high approval rating.

Presidential ratings always have been and always will be completely useless. It all depends on the type of day someone is having paired with the party affiliation. Most Republicans will say he is the worse President to ever live in the White House while most democrats will say he is the greatest of all time. The rest fall into the category of how things look for the week. If the survey recipient is in a good mood, the President gets a thumbs up; if they are in a crappy mood, the President gets a thumbs down.

Surveys like this are useless.
