Well, many if not most "Hispanics" (we usually use the term Latino in California) are US citizens. All Puerto Ricans are US citizens.

You can break your arm congratulating yourself but your math is rather faulty - politics is about building coalitions and alliances, enough to win votes in an election. I guess a swing vote depends on your point of view.

In Nevada, Latinos could be considered a swing vote. Ditto for Georgia, a red state that has become more competitive this cycle.

Point is, you want to be able to build up enough mass with your coalition to outvote the opposition.

Your boy Trump has to double down on winning out and turning out old white male people because he's alienated just about all the other groups. I'd say that's poor math for electoral politics, especially since other groups are growing.

And think of the future, too. In the years B.W. (Before Wilson), Latinos in California would go for Republicans at about 40%. Which is not bad at all. Now a GOP candidate is lucky to get about 15-20% of the Latino vote.

But I'll agree with you on one thing - it won't matter [what you say] cause your boy is going down.
