Guliani and Christie and Gingrich are the biggest political whores/prostitutes that I can ever recall. They use the exact same verbiage while being Trump surrogates.

Now we know why he's always being audited. Claimed in debate that he has been under audit for almost 15 years. Claiming nearly a big $1 billion dollar loss deserves an audit.

I took a mortgage deduction on my taxes because I live in a house.
I am brilliant, I am a genius! Believe me, I am very, very smart to take that deduction. Very smart.

A lot of speculation it was Marla Maples who sent the return to the NYT. If so, it was obtained legally, not to mention hilariously.

Construction crews on the strip or other massive construction projects are highly non minority union members. Got a neighbor who in fact developed the cul-de-sac I live in who has been a major participant in that battle for 30 years. Pours concrete with all Hispanic non union crews. A Mormon of rank he has fought off unionization forever.
You are absolutely right, I've watched it for 30 years, and it's impacted a number of my family members and friends. And I lived in Reno so I'm very familiar with what you are talking about regarding residential contractors. The big name contractors were more careful but the remodelers, landscape and flooring contractors usually didn't have one employee who could speak English.

I first heard of Trump stiffing contractors while he was getting the 1st casino ready. I heard about it from a contractor who was doing work for me. I saw him come on Letterman & say awful things about women, while Letterman grimaced. I saw him when he brought the foreign-made clothing on Letterman, a clip of which became a Hillary ad.

In my opinion, he's nothing but a blowhard. Yeah, illegal immigration is & has been a problem, but Congress has failed to act. He can say that he's going to deport them, but Congress controls the purse-strings & it costs money to round the people up & send them back.

He's not a good businessman. He's gone bankrupt repeatedly. Whoever sent the tax form to the NY Times should get a medal.

The NY attorney general has been looking into his "charity". He's diverted money into it, spent the funds for portaits of himself & to pay court cases against him. He never filled out the paperwork to allow him to solicit donations.

But he thinks that he wants to be president. . .

I'm a huge Trump supporter, but I don't think I've done anything more than share a random story here and there. Clinton's sycophantic gaggle of "YASSSS" girls is nauseating.
Only one of my friends is a Hillary supporter. The rest of us are just going to hold our noses, and try to keep that maniac out of office. My conservative friends are just staying out of the fray. Some of us were okay with Trump at first, at least in theory, but not now. It's national suicide to go that route.

But some people are buying his rhetoric because they want change, and others actually think they can relate to that billionaire with narcissistic personality disorder. Others just hate Clinton so much that they'd rather watch the country burn.

Nothing good will come of this election, except maybe in the downstream races.

That would of course be clearer with the earlier returns. Had he paid large taxes on large income or not?
Yes--Senator Bill Bradley who was involved with Trump on some of those projects made comment that Trump fell in love with tax loss harvesting...

Questions I would like asked at next debate:

1) How much of those tax losses involved forgiven loans/debts and from what entities...city, state, private financing???
Because any forgiveness legally has to be reported as income and it also involves a loss to the other side...
Not everyone involved in those losses benefitted on their taxes like Trump did...

The city, state, or financing group which could have involved private pension groups like the employees of the state of New York or any other state, a teachers' fund...so those companies, funds, towns that invested with Trump's company and lost money---they passed that loss along to their investors....taxpayers in the case of cities or states...investors in the case of say an insurance company or development fund...and the loss resulted in higher taxes or reduced benefits to the other side or reduced share price to investors in some of the companies involved to compensate for those massive losses they took when Trump dumped...

The bankruptcies in Atlantic City were later than those released forms, but AC didn't hurt Trump one bit...
he leveraged all the debt onto other entities and walked away with his $$$...

2--what does your tax proposal do to close the tax provisions that allowed you to use those massive losses to offset massive income when you were still obviously maintaining a very wealthy lifestyle?
Why do you castigate hedge fund managers for their ability to take advantage of tax laws that offer them protection for much of their income due to the carry-forward provision and other tax "loopholes" when you, yourself, have been just as proficient at taking advantage of specially designed real estate provisions that give developers like you the same type of protection???

3) what would be the economic saving to your heirs if the death penalty tax was repealed--as you have proposed? Right now $5 million can pass to heirs w/o being taxed.
