Trump is an idiot and his policies, although I don't believe you can call them that, are laughable, you can't pin single events or even a bad year in an small are on global warming. I agree with you.

Everyone is an expert. These hurricanes are natural events that have been happening for millennia. What does that have to do with Trump's policies? Not sure about global warming either. Though I don't fully reject it, I think the real issue is ocean acidification/pollution. Those are more severe, affecting Florida's coral reefs/intracoastal waterways etc

See what happened in St Pete during Hermine and look up who was involved..

I can explain that extermination later, but linked facts should be enough.

Let us start here
http://climate.nasa.gov/evidence/
Those who work there and other climate-experts, get their wages with or without greenhouse warnings, cause we had a climate also 15-20 years ago, when we more faced problems with pollutions, as still are coming.

Then we know there are huge values invested in oil coal and gas, so therefore they will try to denie all facts of course and spends lots of money on that to bend you

So Donald Scrooge mcduck is saying anything, just to win and then try to bend it
https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/...ce-sierra-club

What is coming to Florida now with twice a hurricane speed, is just what will increase with Climate change. Costs for damages will increase, until we can halt emissions.

There are many methods coming up cheap to change it and will create many new clean sustainable jobs.

I read Trump is taking protective actions against global warming, but denies they exist. A true businessman who do one thing and say another. If he doesn't change his mind, we may wake up with a lethal hazard.

It does not matter which side is right, climate-experts or coal-promotors. We can not take any chances with our climate, so why should we risk or lives?

Complaints without better suggestions, needs more thinking. I just took step 2.

What can be done then to please us all, alive and well. US government will buy out all fossil investors, when we have new replacement systems?
Geez--if we're lucky, Maralago will be leveled and the guy will move somewhere he is really popular--like Iowa or Indiana or Mississippi or Alabama or Oklahoma.....

God people, get yourself educated.
Yes please do.
We have never before stored coal millions of years and burned it up it a short time, that is not a Natural Variation and causes to much CO2.

This relates to Trump and “what the hell is going on” in that case, but will be in another pure political thread. Don’t mix subjects.

This time it is about skeptics and coal interests, against most of the world and climate experts.
I am busy with other matters also, so I ask both sides to show serious facts with links, from well known experts educated in climate science, since our lives are at stake, including our children.

For many of you, this is kicking in open doors, so its climate prevention for Skeptics, in order to not disturb other threads with other subjects.

Cause it often turns up Skeptics as like to change a subject, in all threads about our climate, so we may take it here, to point at from other threads.

As we all can understand, there are huge values invested in oil, coal and gas, nobody likes to loose, so that industry puts in gigantic amounts to pretend they are not harmful at all, as others did with smoking before.

In both cases they have used ie Fred Singer, as before liked to proof smoking is unharmful, lost and now do similar about coal and oil.

Some sell themselves to anything, without a thought of what they do it seems. They are everywhere but mostly in US, as ie talk of good CO2 as nature grows more of.
Others claim solar cycles.
But against them are almost all climate-experts, so sceptics vanish in a fog of bad work with facts.

4 links about what leads some of them:

Some have even meant this is a hoax to raise taxes, but that dont stick when taxes have been lowered.

Worldwide has nuclear power been forwarded, to get out from fossil fuels, since a long time ago, when those fuels also makes earth and sea acid, pollutes and has toxic downfall.
Those reasons still remain and should be enough to act more green. Or is it otherwise with these old facts nowadays do You think?

On top of that, we have climate-problems, when those old ones are still there.

Some 100 years ago a Nobel price winner Arrhenius, warned of climate issues. More came 10-15 years ago and almost anybody knows them now, so almost all climate-experts and politicians are united we must make a change.

Sceptics hardly knows what Coal-sinks and Positive return coupling is, or care of Methane as is 25 times more harmful to climate than CO2. Its mostly a blur of CO2 and periods of ie 18 years, when experts uses at least 30.

Climate experts use to have another eduction, than technicians with their more technical solutions as sometimes looks like a cult of sceptics. But asked one by one, they worry of CO2, but just dont like to agree on everything.

Some facts:
What's Really Warming the World? Climate deniers blame natural factors; NASA data proves otherwise

This looks worst, or perhaps its better, we all die rapidly?

“”One scientific paper investigating “kill mechanisms” during the end-Permian suggests that methane hydrate explosions “could destroy terrestrial life almost entirely”. Acting much like today’s fuel-air explosives (or “vacuum bombs”), major oceanic methane eruptions could release energy equivalent to 10,000 times the world’s stockpile of nuclear weapons.

Whatever happened back then to wipe out 95% of life on Earth must have been pretty serious. And while it would be wrong to imagine that history will ever straightforwardly repeat itself, we should certainly try and learn the lessons of the distant past. If they tell us one thing above all, it is this: that we mess with the climatic thermostat of this planet at our extreme – and growing – peril.””
https://www.theguardian.com/books/20....climatechange

Better than ie this:
“”Given an effective meltdown of methane clathrates in the Arctic, climate expert Dr. Malcolm Light has estimated global temperatures of around 50°C above averages between the years 2040 and 2050. In summer, if the normal average had been 30°C (for example, where I live in Montana), the post-methane belch temperature would rise to 80°C or 176°F.”

Is the warming Arctic incubating a methane monster that could unleash mass extinction on Earth?””
Dragon Watch: Is a methane monster growing in the Arctic?

Its a bit boring to explain certainties year after year , so help me to explain for sceptics, when we others are in another phase in step with times.

Cause we never ever before, have stored coal in millions of years, then burnt it in a short time, as is not Natural variations and get their consequences.

When it was warmer a long time ago, there was few humans or none, now its almost full so many of us can’t move.
A small ice-age can come later, but it may reverse before and we can not play to get in balance.

Our climate and atmosphere is sensitive to us. The climate can track out of control realizes more and more.

No one can switch all directly now, it goes so SLOWLY and the prices of the fossil is thus down. Coal companies are doing everything they can to deceive us, which is easily understandable, but unfortunate for humanity.

Why should we take chances with most or all human lives, while we have to change to sustainable systems anyway?

Should The Earth Be Cooling?
Yes we should but that goes much slower and than GW and we cant play games trying to make a balance
.

A tip, NASA may be morere serious than your info from private coal-interest as I wrote.

Not in my family.
Yes its all natural but will be more so with GW in its power, we trigger it and if lots of Methane comes up we may be done.

Trump is a denier to science https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/...ce-sierra-club

What you mention is what we also discussed 15-20 years ago, when nuclear was promoted and is still so. On top of that came GW as can start a chain of reactions we can not stop or survive.
