I can see why they preferred the dead guy. It's a sensible reaction, IMO.
Dunno why the forum software is censoring the name - it's John Azhcroft, W's AG.
Oh, there's no denying that Azhcroft is a turd of the first order, but...voting for a dead man?
Why didn't the anti-Azhcroft folks simply write-in Mrs. Carnahan's name?
One reporter let it slip out that the crowds were becoming more subdued at trump events... this goes against their best interest to say since a close race is good for the ratings of cable news stations... but it slipped out and then they quickly changed the subject.
We're seeing that here, too. C-D was inundated with rabid Trump fans starting thread after thread after thread for months, but they have dwindled down to a just a handful these days. Some very prolific posters seem to have disappeared altogether.
As Trump's numbers sink, his fan base grows quieter. And I must say, it's rather nice.
