Well, we now see reported that whatever they were, the emails were on Weiner's server and they did not come from Clinton. The email investigation included a number of people beyond Clinton. Maybe Huma will swing but Clinton apparently has nothing to do with this and Comey needs to say so if that is the case.
"The Associated Press reported that the emails the FBI is investigating are not from Clinton and did not come from her private server. NBC’s Pete Williams also noted that the emails are not from Clinton and were not withheld by Clinton's campaign. He reported that the investigation is not related to the Wikileaks or Russian hacking."
What a tool Comey is. He should be removed from his position for deliberately putting out misleading reports to try to influence an election. The man is unfit for his position.
So will the mass media now make an effort to correct the previous misleading headlines?
IMO, this kind of refutes Trump's assertions that the media is significantly biased against him. The media was all too happy to put this "story" out there, prior to the disclosure of these facts, since it is a provocative headline. That means more viewership. That's ultimately what matters most to the media.
Don't be so sure this time. The leaks over the last few days have been the most damning of all. Now they have proof of the collusion between the Dept of State and the foundation.
This could shake things up pretty good. The corruption is undeniable.
...at least, I sure hope they do the right thing because they are stuck between a rock and hard place and may be forced to do so.
Fingers crossed. Really hoping that the criminals will be brought to justice. I believe in our system, despite some setbacks & I have faith in good, honest people who take our constitution seriously. Everyone should be held accountable for their actions.
I'm kinda thinking the same thing. This hand has already been played, and there is really not a lot 'here'.. at least right now.
Everyone knows what Clinton already did was stupid, improper, and yes sure- maybe even illegal. However honesty was not a selling point for Clinton to begin with, so who knows how much sway this is going to have.
It makes for interesting times. The Orange Faced Twit VS. The Orange Jumpsuit Clad Crook.
Must See TV!!
The headlines imply that these are Hillary Clinton's emails. But journalists are now saying that these are emails from Clinton's Chief of Staff that were found in the course of Anthony Weiner's investigation. There is not even an allegation that Clinton was aware of these emails.

But Hillary should have protected them better. Her failure to comply with laws led to emails getting on the device where Anthony Weiner was sexting a 15 year old girl.
No telling where Anthony Weiner's device traveled or has been.
The biggest story here has nothing to do with beating some dead horse of a story...
But rather... it's the fact that CD mods made this a "sticky". I don't remember the Access Hollywood video having its own sticky.
Liberals all upset that this is a sticky...too bad, you can't pretend this one isn't here.
Also, you're not supposed to question the mods, it's in the TOS, you should read those. Someone already gave a good suggestion as to why it's a sticky: Because this is big news and instead of having 35 different threads of the same dang thing, you have one giant thread...it makes the mods' life so much easier.
