No, putting out a statement saying they were re-opening the investigation into Clinton's emails when they were actually investigating Weiner's emails is a deliberate deception aimed at smearing Clinton 10 days before the election. The man is unfit for his position.

Did Clinton illegally, criminally, and intentionally mishandle classified information as Secretary of State putting the US security at risk is the question?

Do you think this unimportant? I do. Some don't care.

Are you assuming that any information they have isn't directly related to the Clinton investigation?

According to what I've heard, this is another misnomer by the media outlets. The investigation is not re-opened. The FBI is reviewing things, which is entirely different than re-opening.

I am tired of how the news blows so much out of proportion.

I don't think this is going to be a big deal or affect voting. And it will take them months to review these new Weiner-mails.

They are not from Clinton's server or are they from her.

What I find amazing is that the FBI, pushed by the GOP, is busy investigating Weiner, but not Trump's voter suppression efforts.
Hillary was careless with Classified information. So careless that emails were found on Anthony Weiner's sexting device. Are you saying that Anthony Weiner has a security clearance?

A security clearance is a status granted to individuals allowing them access to classified information (state or organizational secrets) or to restricted areas, after completion of a thorough background check. The term "security clearance" is also sometimes used in private organizations that have a formal process to vet employees for access to sensitive information. A clearance by itself is normally not sufficient to gain access; the organization must also determine that the cleared individual needs to know specific information. No one is supposed to be granted automatic access to classified information solely because of rank, position, or a security clearance.

- Checks at the Secret level, foreign travels, assets, and character references must be given.
- Field check will also be conducted prior to granting the clearance.
- This level of clearance will grant the right to access all designated and classified information on a need-to-know basis.

No intent, is not acceptable when it comes to security and emails.....which those who support hillary have been told thousands of times......

No telling where Anthony Weiner's device traveled or has been.
That was what the FBI said in conclusion to their investigation. It's hard to find someone had criminal intent for just being carless and stupid. Clinton or not Clinton.

Someone passing classified information for personal gain? Criminal intent
Someone being an idiot or lackadaisical with classified information? Not criminal intent

No matter how MUCH the ardent right wing would like to- you can't bend the law to suit yourselves.

I'm starting to think that also. It's like yelling fire in a crowded theater. And even if he was just covering his own butt, it is irresponsible. Loose canon Trump is already out there inciting his cult with total lies, but I think most Americans will roll their eyes and carry on.

If this is as insignificant as it looks, it could end up with Dems getting angry enough to definitely go out and vote.

has nothing to do with counting votes, has to do with Republican FBI Director having an agenda - he had no business leaking information/disclosure of investigation of Weiner. Appears he's saving face.
