The was a more composed Trump back then who knew how to carry himself. Almost a pity, that Trump from back then would have had a better chance I think. I mean what happened to the guy?

Amazing to think that if he woukd have become President back then, we wouldn't have the trade deficits we do now.

He is stuck in the 80's in some ways. That's why he keeps mentioning Japan along with Mexico and China. Japan has been mired in economic slump for over 20 straight years.

So true. Same message, but I think his decades in big business have roughened his edges too much. He sounded so polished in this video, and I believe if this was him today he'd win in a landslide.

I was thinking of the same thing when I watched the video a few months ago. This Trump would win by a landslide. How did he regress so much? I thought you are supposed to get better with age.

Back then Hillary was against gay marriage, was against abortion and was pro-cop/law enforcement.

Everything she stood for back then she has done a 180 on. Donald has been consistent.

Look at how the liberals could sit and listen to someone they do not agree with respectfully back then. Now look at them. They act like animals in a zoo cage.

Over the years Trump also was a close friend of the Clintons and supporter of Obama and was himself a democrat........
