Very true. Those of us on the losing side have to pick our chins up off the ground and support Trump when ever he acts in the best interests of the nation.

This result is a strong repudiation of many positions on the left. Our democracy depends on us coming together and moving forward.

Let's don't be angry, petulant birther-style losers.

America works best when both sides offer viable policy initiatives. And that's what will help to knit us together.

So we're headed for a civil war, then? That's the other alternative, if "we will never unite after this election."

Is that really what you want?

That's hilarious. Do you understand how the impeachment process works? Think back to the last time it happened... Remember? It was the husband of the felon who just lost the election.

Civics lesson for the day: Congress impeaches presidents.

Test question: Which party is in control of both houses of congress?

It wasn't this campaign that did it. It was the two previous election cycles, with a whole lotta "black lives matter" and other movements & political reactions to events that divided us.

Obama owes his entire career to dividing people. That's precisely what a "community organizer" does - pit one group against another. It's all he knows, and it's how he ran both campaigns as well as his presidency.

"Elections have consequences," remember?

If you are a Minority, Gay, or Female, you can kiss your rights goodbye with a new Supreme Court. Bye, bye 401K, Social Security, and Medicare. You have been conned, America. Don't say we did not warn you.
FUD. Time will show you how ridiculous your statement is.

He learned pretty well how to win an election when the media was against him and he was drastically underfunded by comparison. That's a skill that Republicans have been missing for a decade.

As for putting in the hard work... Were you watching the campaigns? I think you're seeing only what you want to believe. He was out there every single day. EVERY DAY. Clinton? Not so much. But with her health issues and all, I can understand why.

Sorry, but your statement was proven wrong before you even wrote it. I realize that objectivity is generally lacking the day after an election, but come on. What you wrote is ridiculous on its face.

I'm VERY surprised to read this coming from you. Good on you for taking the loss on the chin.

I'm perfectly willing to give him the benefit of the doubt even though he was not my choice. Maybe he'll do something useful, if not in 4 years we can replace him.

Those of us in the middle.. The majority are generally social liberals and fiscal conservatives.

And we think both sides can just go suck it.

We were promised Hope and Change.. We didn't get it. So, we're giving the country a change.
Obama delivered Hope and Change. He provided false hope and that is a type of hope. He also set race relations back 50 years and set terrorism ahead 100 years. That is change. It just wasn't the type of hope and change people actually wanted.
