If the blue state coastal economies are so great, howcome people flee in masses? Let's take Seattle or San Francisco and see what 2k/month can get you in those places. Compare it to what it will get you in Texas or Arizona, even Nevada. I'd rather live in a fancy luxury home in Texas or Arizona than in a dumpy studio next to a homeless encampment in either SF or Seattle.
To Seacove, someone who sneaks into the country illegally is a better American than an American, and someone who lives in middle America is to be despised . This is what the Left is actually striving for.

Where did I say anything about immigration?

Agreed.

Needles, Calif is cheap like Bullhead City if talking housing but, that state's insane rules and laws are pissing more and more people off. That's why Needles is pretty much dying but, we're holding our own here in Arizona.

What insane rules are you talking about? Cheap housing isnt a sign that a place is attractive, quite the opposite. You can find even cheaper housing and cost of living in Mexico and even lower in the Congo. Housing is an investment, not a cost. And demand is sky high in the best places to live.

If Trump even is around in 2020, there is no way he will ever get re-elected.

Americans will be so sick of tired stale old low energy golfers by then, that they will be going for someone younger, fresher and energetic.

I saw an interview with that Dem from GA -- Jon Ossoff, and was very impressed. He sounds so incredibly sane, well-spoken, mature and smart next to president tweeterhead, that it is clear--it will be someone like him who gets elected. Trump thinks he is helping the GA repubs with 80s style campaign insults. Trump is so mired in the past, it is just Sad!

Trump is already dragging down the GOP. This 50s mentality is going to be killer deadwood by 2020. Bye-bye Donny--take your mud-slinging lies and golf clubs with you.

"...On Twitter Monday, Trump criticized Jon Ossoff, who is leading a crowded field of candidates in the race to replace former Rep. Tom Price, who stepped down to become the president's Secretary of Health and Human Services.

"The super Liberal Democrat in the Georgia Congressioal [sic] race tomorrow wants to protect criminals, allow illegal immigration and raise taxes!" Trump tweeted.

Ossoff responded with a statement, "While I'm glad the President is interested in the race, he is misinformed. I'm focused on bringing fresh leadership, accountability, and bipartisan problem solving to Washington to cut wasteful spending and grow metro Atlanta's economy into the Silicon Valley of the South."

If the Dems run out a Warren, Franken or Sanders Trump will destroy them in a general election.

Bernie is popular with a certain crowd but has no general election appeal.

Possibly Cory Booker could pull the party together and be a force to be reckoned with in a general election.

Bernie has massive general election appeal obviously. He connects to all groups pretty much except fringe social darwinist groups and the ultra rich.

I do think he might just be a bit too old though, so the three best progressive candidates are Al Franken, Tulsi Gabbard and Sherrod Brown among the ones I can think of. Cory Booker can get all the glowing and fawning press he wants, he sealed he is a lackey of special interests and big pharma and has sealed his faith. He will never be Obama 2.0 like some hope.
