Gerrymandering has been [u]a part of the US political fabric for most of our 240 years. The vast majority of court challenges during that time have failed. This means our system is working as intended.

The Democrat party has ignored the basics of politics, control of the individual state legislatures. Just because one is not very good at the 'game', and will not devote sufficient focus to improving, does not give one the right to change the rules.

Get better, or stay unimportant.

Default An end to gerrymandering?

A Wisconsin case may lead the way. A US District Court, with the help of a new statistical formula, ruled Monday that Wisconsin Republicans created electoral maps to favor GOP candidates.

How Wisconsin's gerrymandering ruling could affect other states - CSMonitor.com

For the first time, a statistical measure that provides an objective measuring stick. There are any number of ways to map electoral districts, making it hard to measure whether gerrymandering has actually occurred.

Wisconsin will of course appeal.

Lets certainly hope this system of gerrymandering will be considered unconstitutional and struck down.

Outside of for-profit prisons and the current system of legalized bribery in politics, the current system of gerrymandering is absolutely shameful for an advanced country

Republicans will be in for a wave of losses if gerrymandering is removed.

LOL! gerrymandering is a democrat enterprise. Republicans have taken over once Democrat ruled states and the lines have not changed much, some not at all.
States Democrats control are not gerrymandered?

Yes, kill it. I don't care who started it, who benefits from it, or who is still for it. End it. Just seems to be legalized cheating.

Replace gerrymandering with what? There is no litmus test... the federal judge was wrong... will be overturned at Supreme Court... every state does it, is every state breaking the law? No... it sucks that you can't even trust liberal judges... it's a common theme among liberals...
