If no crimes were committed fine. But they should not be allowed to get away with major crimes when the average citizen would be fined/jailed for much less.
Hillary was already investigated by the FBI no less, and it was determined there was no reason to prosecute her. So why would Trump need a "special prosecutor" to investigate Hillary? To appease a bunch of ignorant rubes who just want him to "lock 'er up"?

Of course you completely ignore the fact that the FBI is controlled by Loretta Lynch.

That's what I think too. Regardless of the election being lost, to learn if there were irregularities would be enormously educational moving forward.

And if Trump wants to investigate Clinton, he should just do it. If it's anything like the thousand previous investigations, it will result in nothing, but expose Republicans. If something is found, by all means proceed. Hillary does not hold any office so go ahead and investigate away, it will do absolutely zero harm to Democrats. And we should hold Trump to the exact same level of scrutiny during and after his term.

Trump needs to break open a can of Whoop A** and put the hammer down on her!

Go ahead. She holds no office and trying to find ways to prosecute her will do no damage to Democrats whatsoever. And if nothing is found, it just looks like Republican political malice and Hillary goes down as a martyr. This allows Democrats to hold the same level of scrutiny against Trump and Republicans currently in office. Do it. Trump needs to stop the threats and just move forward with every accusation he can think of. Will he be investigating Cruz's father regarding the Kennedy assassination as well?

She's going on 70 so Republicans may not have enough years left to investigate her. Perhaps they can make plans to put her bones on trial at some point.

On Nov 22, Trump told the NY Times that he had no intention of pressing for an investigation of Hillary. Fine. He's The Prez, and he can make that choice.
But on Nov 26, Hillary announced that her campaign staff will participate in the recount(s). She won't contribute any money, but she will send people to monitor it (them).

Is the deal off? Should she have accepted Trump's statement of magnanimity and gone about her business? Has she shot herself in the foot again?!
Looks like it.
If Trump was able to prosecute Clinton, he'd be a bigger fool than those who voted for him. There's no crimes for which to legitimately charge her, which would be embarrassingly obvious if it ever went through a court of law.

All the repeated claims of her being crooked are based on nothing and are no more than campaign catch-phrases. It's just like the many bogus laws on the books in various places. They never cite anyone for them, because then they'd be declared unconstitutional and removed. But they're handy for threatening people, just so long as they don't make the mistake of actually charging anyone with them.

Hillary will NEVER be a martyr. She will go down in history as being a lying, corrupt piece of garbage.

She will if Republicans do some mass investigation and find nothing of consequence. They should move forward with everything they've got. Not just threaten but do it, then hold Trump to the same standards including the Trump Foundation that was never certified and has never been audited.
