It is now called an Orange Swan, BTW.

Trump appealed to the lowest common denominator. Unheeled, uneducated, blue collar working man who remembers how his dad made $60 an hour working in the auto plant. Trump promised he could bring all that back...coal mines, steel plants, auto manufacturing. Simple jobs where education and training are not the primary demands. He used foul language, called out women for having periods, ranted at blacks, and basically behaved like a goon. People ate it up.

And then he got elected, and now we have the mess we have today. Health care was "ready on day one" except it didn't happen. Managed to pizz off our trading partners in three days, and the rest of the world in one week. So great, we're going to build pipe at $8.75 an hour or dig coal, for which there is no market, at the same price. Once we chase the Latinos back home, you can add lawn mowing, dish washing and day laborer to the list of "really great" jobs which he is going to create.

Take America Backwards. It worked. He got elected over a dozen career thieves. Only trouble is that it turns out that Trump is a lousy businessman and a bigger thief than the guys he ran against. The difference is that Trump didn't mind saying we hate blacks, we despise non-christians, women are for mauling and fondling, and the Constitution is just a document. Oh, and people think the **** he is married to is elegant, "hot", and the most gracious woman to ever be first lady--except rather than live in the white house we spend $500,000/day (that's $180 MILLION a year or 5,000 $35,000/year jobs) to keep her secure in her NYC apartment.

I think of the whole original bunch I might have been able to support Fiorina....but she is way too honest to ever be a politician.

He started off his first week doing more than any other president that I can remember doing and keeping all his campaign promises. We all know everyone campaigns and promises the world and you're lucky if 1/10 ever gets done so it's nice to see someone actually do what they said they were going to. I'm sure the resident haters will be along soon with their Orange Cheeto, tax dodger BS but we all know that if Hillary had one she would've spent the next several years paying back her big money donors and doing nothing for this country.
Excellent post! This says it all!!

I've always enjoyed these debates, very entertaining. Too bad it's only every 4 years.
