Hell we deserve, much worse.

Both parties scheduled debates on Saturday night in 2016, and this isnt the first year they have done it. You know that, and you choose to continue to lie.

I am very leary of any leader who comes off as not only 'perfect' for his base, but tries too hard to act like he or she is down with it!

For example, there was NO issue that progressives disagreed with him on! At least in my view! And his appeal to African Americans (at least young people) could be seen by some as fake, due to the fact that, IMHO, he was trying too hard to be down! Allowing Black Lives Matter to take over your podium and giving shoutouts to Black frat and sorority Founders' Days; shoot, I've never seen Black candidates give frat and sorority shoutouts like Sanders!

1. Let your record and history speak for itself, and show that you're truly down! Sanders has been to the March on Washington. He's been arrested in the 60s! His progressive voting record in Congress should speaks for itself!

2. Perfection is the enemy of the good! What happens if a candidate passes a base's litmus test at 100%? And gets elected, then to find out that he or she may have to take a pragmatic approach to leadership that conflicts with his or her base? But that approach, the leader finds, might be beneficial to the people that person leads; but the base isn't having it?

While I didnt vote for Sanders(actually, I voted for Martin O'Malley), it needs to be pointed out that it wasnt his podium. He just happened to be speaking at the event.

A large segment liked Sanders too much so we needed to vote for the corrupt candidate?

I always had great respect for Bernie and even his policies after listening to him speak in a few youtube clips. He was my 2nd choice for POTUS after Trump, and I looked forward to the debate between the two of them to confirm my voting decision. Although Bernie was not able to keep his promise to stay in through the convention, I believe that was beyond his control, get in the way of the Clintons and bad stuff, real bad stuff can happen.
never had a problem with Bernie, until one of the first debates, when he suggested taking social security away, which really pissed me off, b/c he didn't know that wasn't funded by the government but by us.

What are you talking about? Bernie has been the strongest proponent of boosting Social Security, not taking it away.

yanno what, your right, it was Kasich who said that, I'm sorry and apologize....(open mouth insert foot)

It's unfortunate that corruption is in the eye of the beholder, or voter, even though those allegations (many!) brought no actual charges!

Politicians and those who contribute to them can get away with anything, there is no question about that.
