That doesn't make the polls themselves "fake". Have any of you taken a statistics course to understand verifiable methodology and results? Then again, your idea of logical reasoning is "duh", so never mind.

I agree...Pelosi and Schumer are offering no form of palatable alternative, just parroting the anti-Trump line which lost Democrats the 2016 election. Tim Ryan was a much better choice, but he lost the House Minority leadership election.
Nate Silver & gang need to start factoring in the "Bradley Effect" when polling Trump supporters. It should be obvious GOP voters along with independents & some democrats are not telling the truth about how they are going to vote. They had the pajama boy Ossoff up by 7 points last week. Idiots....they will not face reality
The so called Trump backlash is fake news. Handel won by a bigger percentage than Trump did in that district. The 2018 congressional elections are going to be horrendous for the democrats.

Darn, I missed them. I got there in time for his concession speech. You know all those sad faces had their prepared blurbs how this was it, Trump’s days were numbered, the Democrats were storming back and....whoops. Where'd that banana peel come from?
Honestly I'm glad this miserable race is over with. I wonder if there are any adult politicos left in the Democratic party who will understand just what a big flop this was and the dire need to start rebuilding the party from scratch.
This is a great result! Just goes to show that we have to continue treating polls with skepticism. As much as the left wind media tried to portray the Dem as surging in a district that Trump barely won, the Republican candidate outperformed Trump in what was seen as a referendum on Trump. Even those who do not like the president don't like being told what to do and how to vote by east and left coast elitists.
The recent polls showed them essentially tied, so I don't find the result overly surprising
Here in my state, a heavily GOP state, it's not so much R v D as much as R-subtype vs R-subtype. If the Democrats continue with identity politics and Pelosi style congress, this may very well be where we're headed nationally as well.
Dems are run by CA. Until they will have close situation in CA, they are not going to change.
WOW! Unreal. After all the fake polling and money spent by the Dems and their attempt to make this about Trump, they still lost. I guess it's proof positive that they still don't get it.
The person who is likely to buy it is the GOP Congressman who barely won election.
And just imagine how much more money they'd have to do it with if they hadn't burned through, what, nearly 50 million on a series of special elections for which they're batting a perfect .000
