The first is from Nate Silver who says that the district is very difficult to predict because of the differences in results in the
2012.and 2016 elections. The district was carried by Romney in 2012 by 27% but by 1.5% by Trump in 2016.

If you base a predicion on the 2016 presidential election plus the current generic ballot the predicted result would be Ossloff by 3.3%.

If you base it on the 2012 presidential plus the current generic ballot, it's Handel by 20.3%.
If you base it on the 2016 congressional results plus the generic, it would be Handel by 7.8%.
If you base it on a blend of past presidential elections plus generic, it's Handel by 2.6%.

The other article is a piece by the NYT that shows why they Democrats are so interested in GA-6.

I am sure that President Clinton will also be relying on the polls, as they certainly predicted the presidential race, oh wait........... Will the liberals continue to stay with what hasn't worked? With any luck!

This has nothing to do with President Trump. This has to do with the desperation by the left to have something to create a thread about as the resistance continues to lose steam, but hey, you'll always have those reliable polls and NY Times articles to carry you through!

On the one hand, I don't like using this so soon after the Democrat assassin did what he did.

On the other hand, there is zero doubt in my mind that the Democrats would do the same or worse if the situation was reversed.

So, it's kind of a "meh." You reap what you sow, liberals.

I can picture a bunch of progressives tearing their collective hair out over the name of that PAC .

I don't expect Osoff to win because it's Georgia and Georgia isn't going to change. Just like Appalachia voting for the guy that will take their health coverage, Georgia is still the south.

Handel will win because it's Georgia. Like Appalachians that voted for Trump even though it means they lose their health coverage, Georgia is in the South and they will vote for the Republican no matter what.

*ouch* Don't diss the South. It's a vital and vibrant part of our country. Your dismissal of a whole American culture is a bit drastic, don't you think?

BTW....Ossof...I think.

Wrong as usual. Trump carried the 6th by less than 2%. But shills gonna shill.

Nope..Ossoff by a nose. Trump's base is crumbling in the 6th. The South is a big place..and they vote many ways--depending on the election--and the times.
