I don't think it really means anything.... the guy might be well-known as a political pollster but I'm sure he does all sorts of analytic or strategy work and has lots of different clients.

Why not? He's guaranteed to win. You own social media, you own elections. By the time he runs he may just be able to buy the office outright.
And He can have it - he's a fool since he'll be presiding over a declining, rupturing titanic. No one smart should want to be president of America ever again - it's a crap job going forward.
Furthermore if Zuckerberg does decide to run, he will be forced to give up all his ties to Facebook.
If he does run he will run on open borders and one world government - this is what lost the last election for Hilary. He will do that while building walls around his own private estate!
Then he still has to make it past our perceptions of him in The Social Network: The Social Network (2010) - IMDb. While he came off as extremely smart; he also came off as self-centered and egotistical - he threw people under the bus to get ahead. He had no patience for common people. His portrayal in that movie was that of a very unlikeable man - not of a candidate that will save the Democratic Party.
He isn't going to run, he is one of those losers who people tell him what a great person he is because he is wealthy and has influence... gives it serious thought and begins initial exploration into it... then finds another butterfly to follow...
