Great idea, all 100 years as war monger McCain has suggested. Some people never learn.

I'm having a hard time thinking you missed my point.

As to Iraq, it is clear some changes need to be made and I think he'll do so.

Do you really believe McCain intends to have a war for the next 100 years? A little common sense will go far here. I think what he means is that we will be there for as long as we are needed, maybe not at the strength we have now, but we will most likely always have a presense in the area. A very good thing.

McCain is the only canidate who can get people to work across the aisles. He's certainly the right man.

We're not needed, we're not wanted and we CAN'T AFFORD to be there. Let the Iraqis fight for their own democracy. Bring the troops back and defend our borders.

Right now he is skating free and clear while the Democrats rip eachother a new one. When it comes down to it, the race will end with the Democrats claming that one, Mcain is a racist (if obama is chosen) or that Mcain is a sexist (if it is hillary) It is already happening with the democrats claiming such things, and it will only get worse as these things move on.

I urge every reader to do your research and ignore the attacks by any of these canidates, research and find the candidate that best fits you. do not let the attacks lean you to one side or the other

For the third time in a row, in yet another unbelievable display of poor political judgment, the democrats are shooting themselves in the foot in an election that they should win handily, but McCain's chances are at least 50-50.

How can they be so dumb? How can they fail, once again, to provide a country, desperately in need, with an obvious alternative?

Can it possibly be that their attitude towards human nature is ... unrealistic and irresponsible ... regardless of how bad the republicans under the Bushes have become?

But the democrats seem to be so inept that even the octogenarian McCain seems the change.

If you actually listened to the context of what he said instead of soundbites or headlines you would know he was talking about having a base/presence long term like we already have in countries all over the world.

There IS a difference between someone supporting a candidate and a candidate supporting a someone like a preacher who's church HE willingly attends for 20 years that spews vile hatred of the US.

McCain is not my favorite choice for president but he stands well above Clinton or Obama. He certainly loves America and he will be getting my vote.

Your vote for McCain will be your vote for Amnesty.
