I believe I will be voting for him, it will be the first time ever I have voted republican in my life. I am crossing the line because we are in deep trouble in this country and I believe McCain has the guts to stand up to anyone who continues to allow our country to fall apart at the seems like it is today.
Since this thread is about John McCain and the tone of the evening has been set by the attacks on Obama because of his pastor, I thought I might point out a couple of religious connections of McCains.
McCain's supporters include evangelist John Hagee, founder and senior pastor of Cornerstone Church in San Antonio, who has said that "Hurricane Katrina was, in fact, the judgment of God against the city of New Orleans" for planning "a homosexual parade there on the Monday that the Katrina came," and Rod Parsley, senior pastor of World Harvest Church in Columbus, Ohio, who reportedly wrote that "America was founded, in part, with the intention of seeing this false religion [of Islam] destroyed."
