I did not realize until I saw this list how stacked things are for the GOP.

Too many democrats running in red or swing states. Only one GOP running in a blue or swing state.

Nevada would be the only swing or blue state that has a GOP running for reelection.

I count 9 states that have democrats trying to stay on in swing or GOP states.

Florida
Indiana
Michigan
Missouri
North Dakota
Ohio
Pennsylvania
West Virigina
Wisconsin

And if you want to add Arizona to the GOP side I could add Virginia, Montana and Connecticut to more problems for the left.

It might not be likely but a 60 vote super majority for the GOP is not out of the question.

How bad have things become for the left? Trump and all his problems and the left slips even farther down in 2018.

Arizona will pick a more conservative GOP candidate. Flake lives up to his name.

Republicans are set to pick up 8-10 more Senate seats....I'll take the middle ground and go with 9 pick ups.

Montana is certainly vulnerable to flipping. Virginia is less likely but possible. As for Connecticut, seriously ... when is the last time a Republican came close in a federal race? Republicans don't have a single one of the state's five House seats either.

Republican pickup of 1-3 seats.

I do expect the Dems to pick up 1 or 2 seats, but these will be offset by Rep gains elsewhere.

Dems pick up seats in the House but not enough for a majority.

If the left is still embracing the alt-left such as AntiFa... Republicans will slaughter them!

Yep, in 2010 Democrats lost seats, but they ignored the warning signs. In 2012 Dems lost more legislative seats but they continued to ignore the warnings. Same thing in 2014. Democrats lost over 1000 legislative seats during Obama's presidency and STILL, Dems continue to ignore, blame, insult, attack people. Yes, Obama did good for Obama but not the Democrat party. If you can't accept responsibility, how can you change course?

Blame doesn't empower you. It keeps you stuck in a place. Without accepting fault and responsibility, you can not make the necessary changes to accomplish your goal.

The way the numbers are stacked in the R corner this time, Trump will really have to **** the bed for the D's to take the Senate. Their odds are significantly better in the House, but I wouldn't bet the ranch (house) on it.

I find their denial kind of amusing. Like watching a dog chase its tail.
