Honestly, what the Republican party said by backing Moore is "Republican voters are so dang stupid we can run a kiddie-diddlerly, and they'll still vote for us - losers!" But I don't expect Republican voters to figure that out, sadly.
They will never figure it out. Ironically, the best thing to happen to democrats is Trump. His stain on the GOP brand will NEVER be forgotten. Dems will be thanking him for years to come & republicans will be upset for decades.

Don't Trump, the "me, me, me" president. Trump voters, how are you not embarrassed by this dummy?! "His numbers went up mightily."

And when Trump says "the deck was stacked against him (Moore)," does he mean DECENCY was stacked against him?!

Have some dignity and concede already, Moore. Piece of trash.

Mitch McConnell called for a write in alternative to Moore.

The write in got 3% of the vote - which was more than the 1.5% margin between the D and the R.

Between that and sex - those are the main reasons Moore was defeated.

Because Trump is "valueless." He has no morals or allegiances...He only cares about himself. He didn't care that Moore was accused of child molestation. His only calculation was how could this help Trump.

So in other words, he found a way to spin this into "See, I'm never wrong, look how smart I am, I stay winning.."... even though he was wrong and he lost.

Oy.

He will drag it out like dems did after Trump won. Same nonsense different party. Really no difference between the two but highly partisan will disagree.

Next the GOP will claim some sort of voter suppression or fraud or conspiracy like the dems did with Clinton. Or perhaps the russians helped the dems?

African Americans are Americans and their votes are good, count, and they won. Good omen for Alabama, welcome to America.

Good enough reasons. He lost, and a good man with principles won. Alabama won.
