In the next few elections cycles it's all about the Rust Belt - not just Ohio anymore but also Michigan, Wisconsin, Pennsylvania, Minnesota, and Iowa. Those states seem to be trending red and are far less effected by demographic change. GOP can not see states like VA become unwinnable and states like NC and GA become toss ups and still have a chance unless they maintain Trump's wins in the Rust Belt.

I think there are now more people who support Democrats than Republicans however they are far more likely to only vote in the presidential election if they vote at all. Obama got them to the polls but they didn't return for local and /or midterm elections. That's why Obama won twice but GOP had a net gain of over 1,000 seats. Democrats need someone like Obama who can get them to stop playing video games or Snapchat and get out and vote.

I for one think Trump should be impeached.
The USA just cannot (afford); risk having him in the White House for three more years.

The Anti-American Democrat party currently has no path to 270.

Nah.

Obama's policies destroyed the Democrat party. And the only reason he was President is because he was matched up against the hapless McCain, and the idiot Romney. And it was the CBC Super Delegates that gave him the nomination even after Hillary won the popular vote in 2008.

Until the Democrat party can come up with a leader that isn't named Clinton, then they are done as a national party. Right now they are more dysfunctional than they have been for the last 100 years and there is no sign they are making any moves to change this.

Lying, name calling, conflict of interest, money grubbing--people are sick of it and getting bored with it. The excitement of getting a tv celebrity/millionaire into high office will wear off and people will elect a normal person. There has to be a normal person to run for president though--either party is fine, as long as they are normal and mostly honest (can't expect 100% honesty in politicians, lol.)

The unemployment figures are fake. Its really 40%. The other stuff doesnt matter. What matters is inequality and median income growth. Not how much Wall Street and its media outlets celebrate. At least, this is what Trump said during the campaign (and accused Ted Cruz of being a Goldman puppet) before he packed his administration with Goldman Sachs fat cats.

I have no idea what "resisters" are playing at. What exactly are you trying to STOP and what do you want to see START that makes your dramatic political theater worth it?

And just for fun were you this political or were you deeply concerned about it all 10 year ago? My observation of the people I know personally is NO. It's just a Trump thing.
