Why did you people vote for Trump? Not an old time career politician. Biden is, and Hillary also. Democrats need a new, young, fresh face. Why do you think Obama won? How many people throughout the country ever heard of him before 2008?
I would go with Harris for those reasons. Her gender is irrelevant for me.
Of the two, I would prefer Harris as well but will vote for whichever candidate has the most chance to beat Trump. We can't have another 4 years of corruption and incompetence at the highest office.
Unfortunately, as strong a candidate as Harris is, I doubt that Americans are ready for another black POTUS, let alone a female one.
Yes I agree.
I like Biden a lot and feel he has a broader appeal. His age bothers me, though. Ultimately I will vote for whoever I think has a better chance of beating the GOP candidate in 2020, whoever that is.
Crazy that it's 2018 and we're talking about whether a woman or POC could be a viable candidate. Depressing, really.
I have been anticipating the same 3-way final round for the Democrats as the OP for a number of months now. Biden as the establishment pick has to be the early frontrunner, for more reasons than just what the polls say. Bernie gets a virtual bye to the final round in the democrat socialism wing of the party. Kamala Harris seems poised to get the nod from the SJW (racist/sexist/identity politics/"Political correctness"/Fascist enforcement) wing of the party.
I was thinking that Harris would be the beneficiary of the motivation that comes from the virulent hatefulness that is currently errupting like some sort of malignent magma explosion from the Democrat left. However, after seeing her speak this last week on CSPAN at the annual Netroots conference, now I do not think so anymore. Here is a link to that speech on YouTube:
She checks all of the superficial, external boxes that the SJW crowd yearns for, but she is missing something important internally. She does not appear to me to be cut from the right cloth for this. I am not trying to denigrate her, I am just calling it as I see it. She will not be the nominee, and unless I am mistaken, she will be perfectly pleased to continue on as a Senator from the state of California, which is a role she can fulfill just fine.
What that means, if I am right about her, is that there will be soneone else who will carry the SJW banner for the Democrat left. Maybe Corey Booker or Keith Elison. Whoever it is, the Democrats better hope thay can overcome the push from that wing of the party and nominate someone else, or they are going to lose bigly.

Unless you live in Iowa or New Hampshire, you will have to vote for whoever is left to choose from. People keep saying that conservatives had 16 choices in 2016, and they chose Trump. No, the first five states had 16 choices. I had three, and didn’t vote for any of them. In the general it’s one side against the other, so people either vote for their side or abstain. Or if there’s one candidate that appeals to a broad base then people will cross over to vote for that person.
I wish the primaries were all on the same day. It might be harder on the candidates because they’d have to travel more, but they do this for two years anyway, they just start in these early primary states. Maybe then we could get more independent minded candidates in both parties that way.
