So do I, but I don't expect anyone else to pay for mine.

You can read all about it right here.

The Florida election was a mess. Democrats requested a manual recount as it was important to get it right. Recount was under way when the Supreme Court stopped in a partisan vote. No way of knowing what the result would have been.

Are you telling me that if the original results had been flipped, that the Republicans would not have demanded a manual recount in that situation? Yeah, right.

And I am done with this

So far, the R's have 101,000 votes and the D's have 99,000 votes.
In 2016 the R's got 251,000 and the D's got 112,000. So it looks like the D's were energized (at least somewhat) and maybe sent enough people to the polls to win. But if 112,000 votes is what you get when your side is 'energized', then you are going to lose in November.

BTW, in 2014 - another off year - the Republicans got 150,000 votes. Dems got 61,000. So 10,000 fewer people voted today (200,000) than voted in 2014 (210,000).
Looks to me like the R's will get something like 150,000 votes. Maybe more.
contrary to beliefs, this isnt the same district that was won by John Kasich. His district was much more compact, much more Democratic. In fact, it was the 3rd most African American district in the nation that wasnt represented by a Democrat. Kasich was simply popular, there were no serious challenges to him.

The old 12th, which was only North and eastern Franklin, Delaware, and Licking counties . O'Connor would have won that district.

this new district is a lot tougher.

That being said, Democrats have never fielded a good candidate in this newer district.

But the fact that they were "found" is going to cause a lot of issues while it gets sorted out.
Same thing that happened to Al franken to give him the narrow lead to win. It's all phony baloney that the Dems pull when they are losing.

You're right, but there are always mistakes and errors with ballots every election.

People are human, and anyone can make an honest mistake. And accidents happen.
