The election is just three weeks away.

Fact: Beto has Cruz, the GOP and you very worried.

Beto said it was a suicide mission. If he comes anywhere close the Democratic party in Texas might be resurrected. It has been on life support since John Hill got beat in 1978. It is not socially acceptable to be Democrat in Texas.

The historical Democrat in Texas was against undocumented labor taking over the state way back then. The labor unions were really against it until they figured out it was a losing battle. They then used undocumented to get new members. Nobody cared about a few people crossing the border to work years ago. Then the builders started hiring illegals and paying low wages under the table when Texas got a big growing spurt in the late 60's. Now, The University says 1/2 the construction workers in Texas are undocumented and have been here forever. Something needs doing about their kids. Those builders expected their workers would remain celibate and single the whole time they were here. If Texas Republicans are really serious about the issues they created, they can damn well return all that money they got from Bob Perry, David Weekly and Bo Pilgrim.

Most Texas Democrats have not now, nor have they ever been fond of the DNC. Many are suspicious of our own state run party. Seems to me the same wrong headed labor lawyers have been running things since I was a kid. Time for new blood and someday a win.

Not exactly a phenom - he was never higher than 45% in the polls. (yes I know that polls are worthless, but....)

Beto is correct - Texas can’t be won by a National Democratic Party on National DNC issues.
The problem is that Politics is about MONEY, and for a Democrat to get the MONEY they need to run .... they have to take the policy and issues with it. Money is not enough in Texas.

Open Borders - Abolish ICE - Sanctuary Cities
Nancy Pelosi/Chuck Schumer & DNC dirty tricks
Impeach
Gun Grabbing
No restrictions on Abortion & Public funding for Abortion
High Taxes & No Right to Work

Wendy Davis was the last Turn Texas Blue candidate, Beto in this years great hope.
So where is Wendy now? Beto will join her. They Majority of Texans don’t want that Policy.

Beto is not well regarded in El Paso. Additionally, despite his efforts to appear squeaky clean politically, he and his family are corrupt, and play dirty.

Wendy Davis was selected by Emily's list due to her performance at the filibuster. No one took her seriously, except people who fall for Emily's list.

Davis didn't even have enough sense to look at the platform full of media cameras when she announced. She went downhill from there. She was also a business partner of Perry's CoS. Republican lite.

I suspect 3/4 of the posters on CD have no clue about playing dirty. They never see their side do it.

They are not even bothered by the obvious conflicts of interest and corruption that Trump is in faces about every day.

DH was helping a business that bid for state run contracts. When the company fulfilled all the rules and should have been awarded one of the contracts, the state changed the rules, mid stream.

The guy he worked for was so offended at the Democratic corruption, he made an appointed to see his friend, the newly elected governor. They had lunch with Karl Rove. Told him their sad tale. There was a reversal. The Rs did the same damn thing. This time, their buddies were getting all the low income housing tax credits. You want to talk about corruption, start there first. And it filters down to the city government, too.

SSSSSHHHHH!

We don't want the California vapor-brains bankrolling Robert O'Rourke's campaign to catch on to that reality. In fact, the more money they burn in backing little Robbie's losing cause, the better off all Texans are.

You'd think they would have learned their lesson with their spectacular failure in the Wendy Davis debacle, but apparently not.

As yet unexplained is why the DNC thought that a cross-dressing drunk driver who tried to flee the scene of the collision he caused, and who also had been picked up by the police on at least one occasion for breaking and entering, would make a good candidate for the U.S. Senate.
