I told you so, Bernie Sanders time has passed!

Quote:
WASHINGTON — Some of his top congressional supporters won’t commit to backing him if he runs for president again — and two may join the 2020 race themselves. A handful of former aides might work for other candidates. And Bernie Sanders’s initial standing in Iowa polls is well below the 49.6 percent he captured in nearly defeating Hillary Clinton there in 2016.

Mr. Sanders may have been the runner-up in the last Democratic primary, but instead of expanding his nucleus of support, in the fashion of most repeat candidates, the Vermont senator is struggling to retain even what he garnered two years ago, when he was far less of a political star than he is today.

For Bernie Sanders, Holding Onto Support May Be Hard in a 2020 Bid

The NYT was always against him.

What do you have against Bernie? At least he is not a radical who believes the executive branch should have the right to assassinate those deemed unworthy, illegally enter wars without congressional approval, and bailout financial institutions with tax payer money like Clinton and Obama.

I like Bernie, but if we want sane people in the White House, I think the Dems need to choose a more centrist candidate that will appeal to both parties.

Centrists are extremists.

What is extreme about Bernie.

Don’t you realize that the US is a very big, diverse country and not everyone would want a far-left liberal like Bernie as president? I would like it, but could he actually beat Trump in an election? I’m not so sure in 2020.

Bernie can’t win a nomination. Minority voters and older voters totally rejected him. He’s a nonstarter

In 2016, black voters completely rejected him. You can’t win a lot of primary vstates without them
