I have given a lot of thought to who the next President should be. It's Maxine Waters hands down. She has thought and written deeply about politics, international and national affairs. She has advocated an open, straightforward method of public verbal attack on bigots and liars.
Most important, she is an eloquent and convincing advocate.
Maxine couldn't be elected for anything out of her safe-haven ghetto district.

You obviously do not know much about her or her background. Forget her age and her stupid statements she would never get past the first round of primaries. In fact she probably wouldn't even win the Calif primary. It would not take long for her to be identified as a racist, and not electable no matter who the opposing candidate is. Your comment about her personal attack on bigots and liars shows how little you know about her.

Maxine does what "white society has been groomed and culturally and vocally neutered not to do... "and that is, "call out things for what they are".
White people have a long history of "Spinning Words"... and trying to water down issues, or in the terms often used, such as "white wash" issues.
We see it when individual kill a mass of people... rather than call them a "cold blooded murderer", white society will deflect to "claims of they did not take their med's", "they had financial troubles", "they were a social outcast"... and a whole list of attempts and efforts not to call it what it is. When they kill in their communities, "they label it as an anomaly", yet the frequency is ever escalating.
It's even said "Oh' he/she was such a good ole persons", "I never thought he/she would harm a flea".... all the while multiple people are dead because of this "killer".
Many white people don't want the "truth".... We saw that in the history of America, when known killers committed pure racist murders and they sit on a Jury and let them walk.
Talk about the history and the vile of slavery, and they deflect to try and justify it, talk about segregation and the damages it causes, and they try and deflect and justify it.
Even with the Outsourcing on Industry, when the fact is, it was a construct after the 1964 Civil Rights Act, to try and cut off the pathway for minorities and women to gain "economic equilibrium with white males", and block the accessibility to "middle class living standards for single women, and minorities". It was a means to try and sustain the 'dominance by white males".... with no concern of the damages that such things would do to "poor whites", "minorities as a whole", and "women as a majority of the population".
Maxine Waters busted open the Truth about Ronald Reagan and his acts that saturated poor communities, black, white and other.. with drugs and set off a drug epidemic that is still raging to this very day.
White people are willing to accept and try to water down the "belligerence out of Trumps mouth" and the "vile acts that follow"....and even know the blatant lie that Trump is known for spewing... is a disgrace to America and is a lie.
Yet, they can't digest the truth when Maxine gives it voice in un-patronizing format.
Jim Crow ideology still vertebrates where it is still thought that at no time... "How dare a black person speak truth, unto white washed spin which has a driven attempt to sweep it under the rug"... even whil white people are full well in knowing what's swept under the rug, eventually creates a 'trip hazard" from the build up that makes lumps and humps and bumps under the mat.
In this site and many others, if one writes out the truth, that white people can't face... they gloss right over it, and go into cycles of denial, by attack attempts.... As if they don't want to accept the truth of the damages that racism, and the history of segregation and all the violent bullying and even the violent filled acts upon and against minorities did within society.
Yet, when they don't get patronized by each others, or others... they claim "bullying" and then claim it destroyed their life and send them into psychological default. Yet...not once will they open their eyes to the acts of bullying that is the foundational manner of enacting and promoting racism.
Heck, there are many that go into a downward tail spin, if they don't get labeled in the silly phrase as being "hot", or they can't be the "most popular" in a group setting. And mercy, if they run out of money, the blame goes to anything and everything except themselves or the systems created by white men, that has a long history of fleecing people with low pay, criminal interest rates and over inflated cost, borrowing against fiction until a company is crashed, and pushing policy that dehumanizes the employee work force.
White Nationalism set up a system of mentality, that prevented white people from calling things out for what they are, because to do so, was to face up to the fact white nationalism was not and is not a model for america, nor is it a platform for truth. They consider calling out thing for what they are, would bust open the fact that white privilege was a farce and a selfishly driven self delusion of being superior... To call things out for what they are.. was contrary to the delusion of superiority.... so... white washing, watered it down, and playing "word games"... spun into covert and overt means of denials.... has done nothing but bred and fed... every kind of criminal act, sanctioned every type of crime as being made acceptable.... and dehumanized society and damaged the base premise of civility.
The generalized "fake filled pretense of courtesy for the sake of public image", finds behind the doors and walls, an ever increasing volume of kids killing their class mates, family members killing the entire family, and people wiping out the entire family when they can't live like a TV commercial.... and they can't go shopping incessant like the media advertised delusions that one has to be on a continual purchasing mission, to fill the void with material self measure.
Maxine calls things out for what they are..... if more listened rather than fight because its said by a black skin woman, they might find out how to rebuild real and true and honest civil and civic values in America.
American white people are not ready to face up to such "truths".... the same as they were not ready or willing to face up to the Truth that President Obama put on the table.
Maxine would not run for President, nor would she win... because white people are still not ready for the direct and expressed truths... The attitude still prevails... of "why should I accept or deal with the truth", when my mind is made up to continue to try and promote self deluding pretenses of white supremacy?" That's followed up with, "why should I look at "facts", when I already have my mind made up, and having someone or something to look down upon is more important to such ones, than facing the real and clear truth.
Now... we see that overwhelmingly in the Right Wing Republican sector of society. We saw that take its shape, when President Johnson's Immigration Act... gave white people a choice... "Accept and Respect Multi Cultural Society" or "White Entrenchment to try and continue the promotion of white superiority".... and we know the Republican & Right Wingers chose "White Entrenchment". We've seen them chanting "We want our country back"... as in saying, the lying and denying and pretense of superiority and the pursuit of white privilege is more important, than to respect the principles and dignity of Democracy, and the Equality of Individual as Person of which it is founded upon.
Why deal with truths's... when the system and ideals of "money and material measure" is the desired format, no matter how many lies must be made and told, and how much civil unrest, murder and mayhem and even attacks on the government and society...
It took MLK to know the value of the Media to show them a reflection of their violence, when they could no longer push the lie and deny the violence that they created and enacted against people of color... all in an aim, to disrespect the very constitution of the United States, in aim to try and sustain a delusion of white superiority and try and push a continuance of white nationalism.
American white people have been groomed by such things as "TV Movies" as demonstrations of "how to lie and pretend', and the long history of "Day Time Soap Opera's" trained means and methods to lie'... the whole premise of the shows is based on "lying", pretending, and wrap it in people dress in fancy clothes while practicing every form and manner of adultery, and trying to be covert about it, which leads to every type of crime imaginable", and American has been hooked on that grooming tool for decades.... and people do all they can to "emulated it" in real time society. One can't turn on the TV without a "Crime Show" training people on how to create crimes and enact mayhem and its passed off as entertainment, by the pretty faced actors, who are carefully selected to ensure that the image captivates, to ensure that the script sinks in. Then people, act surprised at the continual escalation of violence within society... !!!
