He has never given off the vibe that he really wanted to do this. And now all of this controversy before he has even gotten in? It will not surprise me at all if you are right and he does not run.
Meanwhile, Hillary Clinton is going on a speaking tour and has expressed interest in running, if Joe Biden doesn't. Stay tuned.
Not yet. The latest word is within the next month. He is hoping all the perv allegations will run their course first.
The allegations won't run their course at all. They will stick to Joe like glue, just as they have with so many others.
Never forget that if he enters the race, this will be his 3rd shot. He made a try in 1988 and 2008, and the first try was when he was a young tiger who got all the early funding, like Beto O'Roarke. In both tries, Joe started off with a bang, but he always tripped up later on and faded.
This time around, Joe has neither the advantage of experience nor the advantage of youth all to himself, and he knows it.
And now, his 'Handsome Joe' nickname is as much a detriment as an advantage in a party that is attracting women voters the most.
I don't think he'll enter the race now. But knowing Joe, he'll dither a while before he says so.
I was going to start a thread to ask a question but I saw this thread.
Is it just me, or are there A LOT MORE candidates (on both sides of the aisle) that run for President these days?
I mean, there were a lot of a republicans in 2016, but the Democrats are out of control at this point.
I'm in my late 30s now and I do not recall it ever being this out of control.
There are more. I don't think it is just about selling books. It is also about raising their political profile, especially for those in the Senate and increasing their fundraising capacity and the amount they can charge for giving speeches. Money is part of it, but power, influence and popularity are part of it too.
And about a half dozen of them actually have a reasonable chance to win their party's nomination.

Some of the clowns don't have the slightest chance.
Gay mayor from small city? Okay...
Sadly his "resume" is infinitely more impressive than most of the other clowns...it's just that America really isn't trying to have this guy shoved down our throat (yet)...
