In US elections the White House often swings to the opposite of what has gone before. And whether it is gender, race, age, or ideals, Harris represents the diametric opposite of the present incumbent. She is, in many ways, the "female Obama". The political symbolism of a woman of colour declaring her candidacy on Martin Luther King Jr Day was lost on precisely no one.
Is Harris tha good that she is guaranteed to beat Trump?
Harris is seen not progressive enough for the left due to her record as a prosecutor, and as a complete insane person to any one on the center or right.
Harris is very bright. She comes from the middle class. The Koch brothers are formulating how to fight her as I write this. If Trump is foolish enough to run she will clean his clock.
