That list of a “potential illegal voters” of 95,000 last week in Texas is falling apart upon further scrutiny.
All 366 names on the list in Waco are citizens.
Harris county has already cleared over 18,000 names as legit.
Quote:
Texas Secretary of State David Whitley said last week that about 95,000 voters matched records of noncitizens who had obtained state IDs. Republicans seized on the announcement to renew claims of widespread voter fraud.
But the numbers started unraveling Tuesday. That was when local officials say Whitley’s office revealed to them the list was flawed.
Funny you cite Harris County as having cleared names since Harris County won't turn over its voter registration rolls for inspection.
The Secretary of State’s Office notified the counties that the list they sent out a week earlier claiming 58,000 illegals had voted was loaded with errors, of course after using said list for political purposes.
Here’s a tweet from R. G. Ratcliffe of Texas Monthly:

Yes, some vote fraud does occur, but in the grand scheme of things it is relatively minor. The only major vote fraud in Texas is Gov. Greg Abbott, Attorney General Ken Paxton and SOS Whitley trying to convince everyone that our vote doesn't matter by using bogus numbers. #txlege
You can be sure they won't post the correction on Breitbart or Gateway Pundit.
Not only won't they run a correction, GOPers will continue to cite the debunked numbers, waiting for GOP alchemy to happy - that magic number for when a lie is repeated enough times that it somehow transforms into truth.
“A federal judge in Texas ruled that state officials "created a mess" when they questioned the citizenship of about 98,000 voters and mistakenly concluded that many of those voters were not eligible to cast ballots.
...
"The evidence has shown in a hearing before this Court that there is no widespread voter fraud," Biery wrote.“
You mean the ones changing hats in the parking lot and re voting. Yeah. Have they been caught?
