From your perch, maybe, but your neighbor state to the west is not fear-mongering, they come right out and say it, you better forfeit your guns, and they are passing laws to do just that. Among many others to limit unnecessarily ownership by normal legal citizens.

Nonsense. That hasn’t happened. Quit with the fake news until it does.

Sure, you'd like everyone to think that.

Arizona current and future firearm owners, yes it has happened. Bans of all semiautomatic rifles. At first it was only certain brands. Then you had to put bullet button on it. Then you could only use 10 rd mags. Finally they banned them and you had to sell, take out of state, or forfeit to police department. If you don't, IT IS A FELONY.

Then they banned every handgun that has not passed some fake expensive 'safety test' defined by the California DoJ. No manufacturer wants to go through that expensive fake test. Now they want to implement microstamping of each round.
Background checks just for buying ammo, you are a felon if you even loan your friend a box of shotgun shells.

Detroit, he's apparently utterly clueless. Don't let them get started, because once they do, it's complete ban as the end goal.

Oh and then if a relative or anybody wants to get revenge on you, they can anonymously report you to the police thta you've made some threat, and now they can come and confiscate your guns without due process.

Ostensibly this was because of the criminally insane kid that shot up a bunch of innocent bystanders in UCSB, when cops had been called to his house, but were unable to confiscate his gun because he had not yet committed a crime. IIRC he also had plans to mow down people with his car at a high speed. But as usual, a tragedy is never to be wasted when you can use it to implement another swath of govt overreach. Now it's going to be easy to swat somebody with fake reports.

I am thinking we are going to have two democrats for the first time in a long time in this state as senators.
Hopefully a more conservative candidate like Zuhdi Jasser can defeat McSally in the Republican primary to run against Kelly. I don't see the point in running McSally again for a Senate seat if she couldn't beat Sinema.

Zuhdi Jasser is more qualified than McSally. I've read his bio, impressive the least to say.

Too many blue staters coming and still voting blue for some reason

We have RINOs that everyone still loves.

We need REAL conservatives and libertarians in this state.

McSally needs to work on her charisma, more flair and less negativity.

Not sure you can fix that without coming across as phony. If she wants to win the next 2 elections she's going to have to come across as a knowledgeable and capable lawmaker.
