A) the tax cuts were not for the rich, they most hurt the rich, as they paired back deductions.
B) The nation can afford them, as they are stimulative, just as they were under Kennedy and Reagan. This is not an opinion to the economically literate, it is a fact. America's low taxes are the reason that we have an unemployment rate of 3.8%, whereas lefty-glorified countries have comparatively poor to downright catastrophic rates: France 8.9%, Italy 10.6%, Greece 18%, Spain 14.45%, etc.
