I’m not seeing how that’s a bad thing. Also, I don’t see how that makes him inauthentic.

I don't know if the word is inauthentic, but his personality is very political and outlook elitist.

I know its a long article, but their are plenty of pieces of evidence in there. From working for McKinney to his experience at Harvard, these are the institutions that build the elite to protect the status quo.

I know it may seem that I'm just spewing talking points, but I don't like nor do I trust politicians who have career goals or plans to move their way up the ladder. Meritocracy has made it so that efficiency and political power are the goals of our leaders. That undermines the values of democracy and takes concern away from the well being of society.
