You guys are hanging onto to power at the moment, but the clock is ticking.
Perhaps you will be right and the republicans will soon be finished as a party forever.....

but,

as you know, in 1969 there was "much young energy coming to the fore in the democratic party", too, and the democratic party still lost 5 out of the next 6 presidential elections. Nixon, Nixon/Ford, carter, Reagan, Reagan, Bush.

this is definitely a crucial time in America's political history. I have no idea if our future will become a socialist democratic country like western Europe or remain uniquely American. time will tell.

Yeah, sure. It's like a preschool filled with 2 year olds having a temper tantrum.

I was really hoping the Democrats would come up with a viable moderate nominee, but it's looking doubtful. I don't like Trump, but I guess I'll have to hold my nose and vote for him.

What issue is the deal breaker for you? Immigration? Transgender issues? Abortion?

I am probably going to Vote Libertarian if a Moderate Democrat isn't the choice.

I have no isdues with the current candidates. Feel their hearts are in the right place with regards to their stabce on various issues and how to respond to them. They want what is best for the U.S.

Voting based off which candidate has ideas that can be feasible and supported on both sides.

I always find the 'Democrat Party' gig particularly humorous because it was basically a creation of the Rush Limabaugh set. It lets you know where someone gets 90% of their info and ideology.

So while it is Democratic Party, I'm fine with people say Dmeocrat Party as a form of virtue signaling.

Where are you getting that aside from pulling it out of your rear? Officially it’s always been the Democratic Party.

“Democrat Party” is an derisive epithet for the Democratic Party used by Republicans. Apparently you get all of your information from right-wing loon sources and you’re not swift enough to discern the difference.
