Just thought i would make a thread for this. Many candidates have released the #'s or at least preliminary #s for the Fundraising for the 2nd Quarter. The official reports are due to the FEC by tomorrow and should be accessible for review within a few days.

Biden seems to have little grassroots support. His money is coming from Wall Street & parts of Hollywood.

^The interesting thing about this, Trump doesn't have to spend much money on a primary.

True but is also interesting that when you add all the Democrats money they are out raising Trump. It will be interesting to see if that happens once is 1-1. The President always has an advantage in fundraising but this country is so separated that I doubt money will decide this election

Well they'd need it. Democrats tend to lose elections even when they outspend their opponent 4 to 1 like Hillary and Beto. Trump understands the value of money. Career establishment politicians, don't.

You would expect this. Of course all together they are going to raise more money. He is a sitting president which is reason not to see the need for a lot of fund raising. The rest are all competing for the big ring: the chance to win the nomination and face Trump next year. It takes money and a lot of it, when you have to out bid 19 or so others. Some who are now supporting a certain candidate with big or little donations will call it quits if their candidate isn't in the final contest and many of these will not be. You are right about one thing, as in years past, money will not be the only factor. In fact neither will endorsements be a contributing factor in the end

Oh I agree they will use the money to win the nomination but our country is so polarized that there are few Americans that are still in the fence on whether 5hey will vote to support or vote against Trump and most of 5hose are usually people that tune out politics so money won’t be the deciding factor.
