Just before the Pa. primary, financial reports released to the FEC this morning show that Clinton raised around $20 million in March and had approximately $8 million available at the beginning of April for use during the primary.

However the campaign also reported debts of $10.3 million, which makes it in the red leading into contests in Indiana and North Carolina.

Meanwhile Obama has 42.5 million available.

Thanks for that information. Continuing evidence that Clinton needs to be given the boot.

On top of the fact, thats a serious weakness for Hillary competeing against McCain in the general election. McCain would have more campaign dollars, especially if Hillary is the nominee because she would energize the republican base to support McCain. A vote for McCain would be an anti-Hillary vote. Hillary supporters dont understand that. She cant win against McCain. Hillary supporters would rather have Hillary as the nominee and lose than to have Obama the nominee and win. Also how a person runs their campaign is how they will run the country. Hillary is in the red with her campaign, She'd probabally drive this nation further in the red while America would have a surplus under an Obama administration.

She should lend herself some money from that pile of cash Hill&Bill are sitting on.

He has outspent her 5 to 1 in Penn.

Love to see them spending their money on each other and NOT the republican.

Believe me her financial status issue is probably getting the Super Delegate's attention. You need to move on with money. How can she continue when she is broke and hasn't paid her bills? Quite frankly, I am surprised the media has not made a bigger issue of her finances since she basically stiffed hard working people and schools back in the past. Yah, she is genuine!
Big deal. So, he has outspent her. He has the money to spend. More than I can say for her.

agreed. Obama is much smarter when it comes to spending campaign money and thats VERY important if the democrats want to win in November. I dont care what anyone says, money means everything in winning an election and Obama has plenty of it. He even raised more money than John McCain.

She can always ask her lobbyist for some more funding. God she can not run a campaign let alone a Country.

All those 35 years of experience and all those Bill's Governor races, Bill's Presidential races hasn't given Hillary any knowledge on how to spend campagin money.
